SCPS is going GREEN!
Duties of Friends will include:
Attending the training meetings for the quarter they have volunteered.
Reminding their classmates what can go into the paper recycling bin; making sure the bin is clear of inappropriate materials before dumping the paper in the big recycling bin
Taking the recycling bin of their classroom to the appropriate larger receptacles throughout the week >
Building 7 bin is near its entrance,
Building 6 bin is outside the glass doors on the end near the Akins Building,
Akins Building bin is outside the glass doors closest to Building 6.
We will also recycle cardboard boxes by flattening them and placing them next to the two fenced-in garbage cans between the Akins Building and Building 6.
Every Tuesday after school until 3:15 pm, I will facilitate our team of Friends with collection of all paper that is placed in the classroom bins.
Dates of Meetings: 8:00 am - 8:20 am
1st – 9 weeks: August 26, 2016
2nd – 9 weeks: October 21, 2016
3rd – 9 weeks: January 20, 2016
4th – 9 weeks: March 24, 2016
